Returns & Exchanges

We hope you love your DaCosta piece. If something isn’t quite right, here’s how returns work.

You have 30 days from delivery to request a return on eligible items.

To start a return, log in to your account at

and submit a return request. Once approved, we’ll send you next steps.


Shipping

We offer free shipping on orders over $50 within the U.S.

Shipping fees are non-refundable.


Return eligibility

Full-price items purchased on dacosta.co are eligible for return within 30 days.

To qualify, items must be:

  • unused and in original condition

  • with original tags attached

  • returned in original packaging, including the white recycled non-woven bag

A return shipping fee of $8 applies to all returned orders, with one fee per order.


Refunds vs store credit

  • Full-price items purchased on dacosta.co
    Eligible for a refund to the original payment method or store credit


Sale items & promotions

All items purchased as part of a sale, promotion, or special event are Final Sale and are eligible for exchange or store credit only.

Items marked 50% off or more are Final Sale, and not are eligible for exchange or refunds.


Exchanges

We don’t offer direct exchanges at this time.

If you’d like a different color or style, please email us at hello@dacosta.co with your order number, and we will take care of your exchange.


Gifts

Gift returns follow the same guidelines above.
Sale items remain Final Sale.


Damaged or incorrect items

Please inspect your order when it arrives.
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us hello@dascota.co right away so we can make it right.


Non-returnable items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Final Sale items

  • Gift cards

  • Custom or personalized products

  • Items received free as part of a promotion

Items not purchased directly through DaCosta website cannot be returned or exchanged.


Processing & approval

Once your return is received and inspected, please allow up to 7 business days for processing.

Refund timing may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

We reserve the right to refuse returns that show signs of wear, use, alteration, or damage.


Our approach

Our bags are designed to be worn often and loved. If you have questions before purchasing, reach out — we’re always happy to help.


Warranty Policy

All DaCosta bags are covered by a 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cosmetic changes over time, accidental damage, misuse, or issues caused by improper care.


Manufacturing defects

Manufacturing defects are rare, but if you believe your item has a defect, please contact us as soon as possible so we can take a look.

When reaching out, please include:

  1. Your original order number

  2. A brief description of the issue

  3. A few clear photos showing the problem

Our team will review your request and, if approved, we’ll offer a repair, replacement, or store credit when applicable.
